When he was awake for a while early in the morning, he heard sounds of the maids’ opening wooden sliding doors outside the windows here and there. He didn’t hear anything else. He slept again and had been enjoying the spring sleep until 11:00.
A maid came and wiped the window. The rental books peddler came. He rented one and read it.
